Repair options

Restore safety and extend surface life.

Water, poor drainage, repeated traffic and movement beneath the surface can all cause tarmac to fail. We inspect the damaged area before deciding how much material needs removing and whether the base also requires attention.

Local patching can be ideal for isolated damage. Where failure is widespread, resurfacing can deliver a cleaner, longer-lasting result and better value than a series of small repairs.

  • Pothole cutting and patch repairs
  • Failed edge and entrance repairs
  • Sunken or uneven areas
  • Utility reinstatement and local patches
  • Full overlay or surface replacement
Frequently asked questions

Before we repair.

Can every pothole be patched?

Most isolated potholes can be repaired, but the damaged material must be removed back to sound edges. If the base has failed, that layer should also be repaired before new tarmac is placed.

When is resurfacing the better choice?

Resurfacing is often more economical when a large part of the surface is cracked, worn or repeatedly patched. We will explain both options after inspecting the site.

Do you repair commercial sites?

Yes. We repair driveways, private roads, car parks, yards and access routes throughout Lancashire.
